Final chance to submit your entries for the 2018 Life and Light Photo Competition

Just over one week remains for amateur and professional photographers to enter their images in this year’s Life and Light Photo Competition.

With the cut-off date of 31 March fast approaching, photographers are being encouraged to upload their images through the Life and Light website now and not risk missing out on their chance to win part of the $5,400 in prize money.

Some fantastic images have already been entered into the highly regarded competition which in 2018 is celebrating its 20th year, demonstrating its popularity.

The theme for this year’s competition is ‘What makes our outback special?’ and photos that have been taken in the Western Local Land Services region from 1 January 2016 onwards are eligible to be entered.

The categories for this year’s competition are:

  • open aged – colour
  • secondary school student – colour
  • primary school student – colour
  • open age - black and white
  • secondary school student - black and white
  • primary school student - black and white
  • digitally enhanced
  • professional
  • 20 years of Life and Light
  • people’s choice (all photos automatically entered into this category).

The competition closes on 31 March with winners announced at Agfair in Broken Hill on Friday, 4 May.
