Wild dog management workshops
Western Local Land Services is hosting a suite of practical two-day workshops across the Western Region to help you understand how to effectively manage wild dogs on your property. Over the two days, you will learn about:
- the behaviour of wild dogs
- the use of remote sensing cameras to confidently deploy traps
- the use of canid ejectors to control wild dogs that do not readily take 1080 meat baits.
The workshops are being conducted by Paul Billsborough, who has a wealth of knowledge and experience in trapping wild dogs over a wide range of environmental conditions in Australia.
The workshop is free, however you will need to cover the costs of your accommodation (if required) and meals.
As only 15 places are available at each workshop, it is recommended that you reserve your place as early as possible to avoid missing out.
