Biosecurity workshop series (north-east area of Western region)

All landholders have a great opportunity to get a biosecurity plan in place for their properties through the Western Local Land Services upcoming workshop series.  

The on-farm biosecurity workshop series, which will see 22 workshops held in 22 locations from Monday, 4 September to Wednesday, 13 September, will cover a range of topics relating to biosecurity, why it is so important and why it needs to be at the forefront of landholders’ minds at all times.

At the completion of each workshop, landholders will walk out with their own biosecurity plan for their properties.

The details of each workshop being held in the north-east of the Western region are:

Monday, 4 Sept - cnr of Broomfield and Barton st, Cobar. Commencing at 9 am.

Monday, 4 Sept - Nymagee Hall. Commencing at 2 pm.

Monday, 4 Sept - Byrock Hotel. Commencing at 3 pm.

Tuesday, 5 Sept - Enngonia Hall. Commencing at 9 am

Tuesday, 5 Sept - 25 Sturt St, Bourke (Diggers). Commencing at 2 pm.

Wednesday, 6 Sept - Hungerford Sportsground. Commencing at 10 am.

Wednesday, 6 Sept - Warrego Hotel, Fords Bridge. Commencing at 3 pm.

Thursday, 7 Sept - Louth Hall. Commencing at 9 am.

Thursday, 7 Sept - Wanaaring Hall. Commencing at 3 pm.

Friday, 8 Sept - Brewarrina Visitor Information Centre. Commencing at 9 am.

Friday, 8 Sept - Goodooga Bowling Club. Commencing at 2 pm.

Landholders that have a property map are encouraged to bring one.

RSVPs are not essential but are requested.
